These high quality nickel plated copper ferrules are ideal for use with stainless steel wire rope/cable and are easily hand swaged. The burr free inside profile prevents fraying of wires during insertion. Creased ferrules, also known as swages or oval sleeves are hand swaged (crimped) over the cable ends to give a secure, neat and professional finish to your job. Non creased ferrules are also used for hand swaging. Stainless steel ferrules must be hydraulically swaged. Aluminium ferrules should not be used with stainless wire rope because it will promote corrosion due to galvanic reaction.
