These load rated AISI 316 stainless steel folding pad eyes are drop forged for maximum strength. They offer both permanent and intermittent tether attachment. Used as lifting eyes on trailerable boats, foredeck pad eyes for staysail tacks, safety tether attachment or babystays. Since they fold down, the angle of the applied load is always favourable.
